LYD PORT is an artist duo consisting of Mai Ane Pil Siedentopp and Morten Schmidt. Their works focus on examining humanity’s relationship with nature, machines, the future and the duality we often experience as human beings, all while cutting across different aesthetic categories in their use of images, sound, light, performance and sculpture. In their works, they are preoccupied with exploring the limits of our understanding and what lies behind the selected reality we experience, investigating how we can awaken the senses and open ourselves up to listening more deeply to nature and the sounds of the body.

LYD PORT is part of Socle du Monde’s Open Call, Danish Open.
